Risk of loss

Trading futures involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for every investor. You can lose more than you deposit. Only risk capital you can afford to lose. Leverage magnifies both gains and losses.

Not personalised advice

The signals are general and impersonal. They are identical for every subscriber and are not based on any person's financial situation, objectives or experience. Flat by Close does not manage, direct or access any subscriber's account. Any decision to trade, and any automation a subscriber chooses to run, is the subscriber's own.

Simulated performance

Every result on this site is simulated. Since Aug 25, 2026 the strategy has generated its signals in real time and executed them on a NinjaTrader simulation account, with fills from the platform's simulation engine. Figures are shown at one ES and one NQ contract per signal, before commissions and fees. Commissions, fees, data costs, slippage and copier delays will reduce a subscriber's results. Past performance is not necessarily indicative of future results.

All trades are executed in a simulation account, not a live market.

These results are based on simulated or hypothetical performance results that have certain inherent limitations. Unlike the results shown in an actual performance record, these results do not represent actual trading. Also, because these trades have not actually been executed, these results may have under- or over-compensated for the impact, if any, of certain market factors, such as lack of liquidity. Simulated or hypothetical trading programs in general are also subject to the fact that they are designed with the benefit of hindsight. No representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses similar to these being shown.

The operator trades the same signals in its own accounts, at the same time as they are published.

Third-party software and accounts

Copier software, brokers and trading platforms are independent of Flat by Close, and their reliability, rules and terms are their own. You are solely responsible for how you use the signals, including complying with the rules of your broker, platform, or any funded or evaluation account provider, some of which prohibit copying third-party signals. Regulatory status

Flat by Close publishes the same impersonal signals to every subscriber. It does not direct any subscriber's account and does not give advice based on any subscriber's positions or circumstances. It relies on the exemption from commodity trading advisor registration in CFTC Regulation 4.14(a)(9) and is not registered with the CFTC or a member of the NFA. In Canada it provides only general advice that is not tailored to the needs of any subscriber, and relies on the exemption for advising generally in section 8.25 of National Instrument 31-103 where that exemption applies. It is not registered with any Canadian securities or derivatives regulator.
